The Problem
With many Nicaraguans now living abroad, there’s a growing desire to give back to organizations making an impact back home.
My Role
I led this project end-to-end as part of my capstone for the Google UX Design Certificate. My responsibilities included: User research & interviews, Competitive analysis, Wireframing & prototyping (low to high fidelity), Usability testing, Visual design
Global Accessibility
With a significant Nicaraguan diaspora residing abroad, the platform must be accessible anywhere. Whether a donor is in Barcelona, Miami, or Managua, they should be able to participate seamlessly.
Transparency
Donors deserve to know the impact of their contributions. The platform should provide real-time updates on how their generosity makes a difference in Nicaraguan lives.

Streamlined Donation Process
The platform's primary goal is to make donating to Nicaraguan causes easy and hassle-free. Implementing a one-click donation feature or allowing users to set up recurring donations can significantly enhance the user experience and encourage continued support.
Mobile Responsiveness
Considering the prevalence of mobile device usage, ensuring the platform is fully responsive on various screen sizes is essential. Mobile users should have an equally smooth experience, enabling them to donate conveniently.
